Busser / Server Assistant

ARRAS Events is one of Vancouver's premier private event venues, hosting elegant weddings, corporate events, galas, fundraisers, and private celebrations in a beautiful venue overlooking False Creek.

As our event calendar continues to grow, we are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Busser / Server Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the hospitality and events industry while working alongside an experienced banquet team.

Compensation

Starting at $18.25/hour + generous gratuities.

Responsibilities: Busser / Server Assistant

- Support banquet servers throughout weddings, corporate events, and private functions.
- Clear plates, glassware, cutlery, and other service items efficiently and professionally.
- Refill water, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages as directed.
- Assist with food running from the kitchen to service staff.
- Maintain clean, organized dining areas throughout events.
- Assist with event setup, room transitions, and post-event teardown.
- Set up and remove tables, chairs, linens, stages, dance floors, and event décor.
- Restock service stations, glassware, china, and supplies during events.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized venue.
- Work closely with our operations, kitchen, and banquet teams to ensure every event runs smoothly.

Qualifications




- Previous hospitality, restaurant, banquet, or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and providing exceptional guest experiences.
