Attimo Kitchen Refacing is an established Oakville-based company specializing in high-end kitchen refacing, custom cabinetry and hybrid kitchen renovations throughout Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga and the surrounding areas.

Our projects are completed by our own in-house team—not subcontracted crews. We are known for detailed craftsmanship, intelligent problem-solving, clean installations and treating our customers’ homes with exceptional care.

We are looking for an experienced cabinet installer who can contribute immediately. This is not an entry-level position, and we are not looking for someone who still needs to be taught the fundamentals of cabinet installation.

The Position

You will work on high-end kitchen transformations involving much more than simply hanging cabinets. Our projects frequently combine cabinet refacing with new custom cabinetry, modifications and detailed finishing work.

Your responsibilities will include

- Installing new cabinets, doors, drawer fronts, panels and mouldings
- Refacing existing cabinet boxes with laminate, veneer and finished panels
- Installing crown moulding, light valances, fillers, toe kicks and decorative trim
- Modifying existing cabinetry to accommodate new appliances or improve functionality
- Installing soft-closing hinges, drawer systems, handles and cabinet accessories
- Building and installing pantry cabinets, fridge cabinets, islands and other custom components
- Correcting walls, floors and existing cabinetry that are not perfectly level, square or straight
- Making precise cuts and adjustments inside customers’ homes
- Identifying installation challenges and finding practical, professional solutions
- Protecting the customer’s home and maintaining a clean, organized work area throughout the project
- Communicating respectfully with homeowners and other Attimo team members
- Completing every detail properly before considering the job finished





The Person We Are Looking For

Technical ability is essential, but character is equally important at Attimo.

- Has substantial hands-on experience installing kitchen cabinetry
- Can work independently without requiring constant direction
- Understands that renovation work requires judgment and problem-solving—not just following drawings
- Notices small imperfections and takes pride in correcting them
- Is patient, organized and careful inside occupied homes
- Treats customers, coworkers and their property with respect
- Communicates honestly when encountering a problem or making a mistake
- Works efficiently without sacrificing the quality of the finished product
- Is dependable and arrives prepared and on time

Required Experience and Skills
- Several years of professional kitchen cabinet installation experience
- Strong finish-carpentry and cabinet-modification skills
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, scribe, level and install cabinetry
- Experience installing crown moulding, finished panels, fillers and detailed trim
- Confidence using table saws, mitre saws, track saws, routers, drills and standard installation tools
- Ability to read drawings and understand kitchen layouts
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Physical ability to lift and install cabinets and related materials
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and respectful conduct in customers’ homes





Experience with cabinet refacing is a significant advantage. However, an exceptional kitchen installer with strong finishing skills and the right attitude may also be considered.

- Are looking for an entry-level position or basic installation training
- Have primarily worked in rough construction without detailed finishing experience
- Need continual supervision to complete an installation
- Regularly leave small deficiencies for someone else to correct
- Are uncomfortable communicating with homeowners
- Prioritize speed over craftsmanship and customer care
- Prefer working individually without supporting or collaborating with the rest of the team
