Using the Teaching Family Model, the Child and Youth Worker will facilitate success for children and youth by assisting with daily activities and routines, maintaining a structured setting, fostering skill development, managing crises, ensuring high levels of supervision for safety, and assisting with schoolwork and household duties.Non‑negotiable compliance requirements (prior to offer):Clean 3‑Year Driver’s AbstractProof of $2M Liability Auto Insurance CoveragePolice Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (within last 6 months)Intervention Record Check (within last 6 months)Responsibilities:Assist with daily activities, routines, visits and appointmentsImplement skill‑development strategies, manage crises and assist with school challengesPromote interconnectedness, including family kinship, academics, recreation and community inclusionSupport children and youth in enhancing mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well‑being, and increasing belongingComplete household tasks such as cooking, cleaning and other duties as requiredTransport youth to and from school, appointments, or visitsAdhere to workplace protocols regarding animals in group homes,
