- 5-month contract.
- Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week with rotating shifts.
- Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, and Saturday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, including evenings and weekends as scheduled.
- Hybrid schedule requiring 3 days per week in the Markham office, subject to change.
Responsibilities
- Handle approximately 50 inbound calls per day related to billing inquiries.
- Provide customer service to Licensed Insurance Advisors, Contact Centre staff, Insurance Branch staff, and customers.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with insurance partners and underwriters.
- Act as a company ambassador while supporting inbound billing inquiries.
- Communicate clearly, effectively, and empathetically with customers by phone and email to resolve issues.
- Interpret and identify customer needs and respond appropriately and professionally.
- Gather relevant information systematically to provide a seamless customer experience.
- Take ownership of customer relationships through service and commitment to follow through on inquiries.
What you will need to succeed: Required qualifications • 1 to 2 years of experience in a contact centre environment, preferably within the insurance or banking industry.
- Professional telephone and email communication skills and etiquette.
- Proficiency with word processing applications, Microsoft Excel, web-based programs, and Windows applications.
