nurturing and challenging play environments before and after schoolMaintain all appropriate records for students (e.G. attendance, health issues, etc.)Assist children in washroom routines, dressing and lunchtime activitiesAccompany children on field tripsWhat You Bring:Completion of a two‑year college diploma in Early Childhood Education with three months childcare experience in an educational settingRegistration and in Positive Standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood EducatorsProven ability to follow directions, policies and procedures in an appropriate and timely mannerCommitment to confidentialityExperience planning and implementing age‑appropriate programsBasic computer skillsAwareness of the cultural and social differences of childrenAbility to assist children with washroom routines, dressing and lunchtime activitiesStrong interpersonal, communication, written and oral skills.Current First Aid and CPR certification an assetLocations:Must be able to travel to all locations within the Niagara Catholic District School Board jurisdiction.Hours:Varies as needed on a casual on call basis.
