We are currently recruiting for a Personal Support Worker for a male employer in his 50s, residing in the beautiful town of Port Moody. Although he is primarily self-reliant, he utilizes a wheelchair and requires support with bathing, grooming, ostomy care (training provided), cooking, housekeeping, and running errands. The employer possesses a wonderful sense of humor, is highly sociable, and has a deep passion for sports, current events, and music.

The ideal candidate is comfortable taking him outside in his wheelchair, loves cooking, and can multitask household duties while attending to the employers needs.

Location:

- Port Moody

Shifts & Hours of Work:

- Monday and Thursday
- 8am to 1pm

Compensation:

- $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

- Daily personal care such as showering, grooming, and dressing assistance
- Administering medication
- Assisting with wheelchair
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Range of motion exercises
- Ostomy care (training will be provided for the right candidate)
- Support on outings via the Handy Dart if no driver's license

Required Qualifications:

- Caregiving experience is required
- Fully Vaccinated is required




- Driver’s License (Class 5) is preferred
- Willingness to be trained
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for cooking and willing to cook valuable meals
