Carpenters Needed – Camp Work (Immediate Start)

Arctic Shrink Wrap Ltd. is looking for 4 experienced carpenters for camp-based work at a gold mine in Whitehorse, Yukon.

Immediate openings available.

- Fly-in/fly-out camp position
- Flights provided from Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, or Calgary
- Camp accommodations provided
- Meals provided while at camp
- Hourly $35-45/hr (depending on experience)
- Overtime available
- Immediate start

Requirements

- Journeyman Carpenter or experienced Apprentice (3rd/4th year accepted if applicable)
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing (if required)
- Physically fit and able to work in remote camp conditions
- Solid work ethic and reliable attendance
- Safety-minded

Job Duties





- General carpentry
- Framing
- Concrete formwork (if applicable)
- Installation of doors, windows, trim, and finishing
- Building and repairing camp structures
- Reading blueprints
- Working independently and as part of a crew
- Maintaining a clean and safe worksite

Schedule

- Rotation: 21 days on/7 days off

Assets

- CSTS
- WHMIS
- Fall Protection
- First Aid
- Telehandler/Skid Steer experience (if needed)
