Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpet, Tile, and Hard Surface Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including carpets, tiles, and other hard surface options, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help transform spaces by delivering durable, visually appealing flooring solutions that meet project specifications and client expectations.

Duties

- Measure and prepare surfaces accurately for installation using hand tools and construction techniques
- Install carpets, tiles, hardwoods, vinyl, and other hard surfaces with attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Use hand tools such as cutters, trowels, pry bars, and levelers to complete installations efficiently
- Perform surface preparation tasks including subfloor repairs, caulking, and sealing to ensure a smooth finish
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met within scheduled timelines
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the installation process to maintain high standards of workmanship

Requirements





- Proven experience with flooring installation including carpet laying, tile setting, and hard surface work
- Strong knowledge of construction practices
- Proficiency in using hand tools common in flooring installation and carpentry tasks
- Ability to perform surface preparation tasks such as caulking and subfloor repairs effectively
- Experience with handyman tasks related to flooring projects is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in various environments
