This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with diverse guests while supporting a bustling marketplace.

This position is only for 6 days, August 9th, August 23rd, September 13, September 27, October 4th and October 11th (all Sundays). Candidate must be available every one of these days.

Shift time is 9:45 AM to 2:15 PM.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional guest services throughout their shopping experience
- Safely collect, handle, and pack customers knives and other sharp objects
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier stations to ensure efficient service
- Support market operations by answering guest questions and providing information about vendors and products




- Manage queues during busy times to ensure a positive shopping experience for all visitors
- Collaborate with team members to uphold safety standards and promote a lively, welcoming environment

Requirements

- Previous experience in customer service, food service, or hospitality environments a plus
- Solid cash handling skills with attention to accuracy and detail
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking or engaging with diverse audiences
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active tasks during market hours
- Friendly, energetic attitude with a passion for community engagement and guest satisfaction
- Basic familiarity with point-of-sale systems (Square) is advantageous
- Perfect, native-level English speaking skills
