Position Overview The Centralized Purchasing Supervisor plays a key role in managing equipment and material procurement across Right Time’s national branch network. This role is responsible for generating purchase orders, maintaining agreed-upon inventory levels, and executing purchasing strategies within established pricing, vendor, and inventory guardrails. This is a hands‑on, analytical role suited to someone with robust Excel skills and a solid understanding of purchasing agreements, min/max inventory concepts, and how vendor‑deals work.
While inventory ownership remains at the branch level, this role ensures consistency, availability, and discipline across centrally controlled SKUs.
Key Responsibilities - Generate and manage purchase orders for centrally procured equipment and materials
- Maintain agreed-upon min/max inventory levels across all branches for centrally controlled SKUs
- Monitor inventory positions and consumption trends to ensure availability without overstocking
- Execute purchasing activity in alignment with:
- Pricing guardrails - Inventory policies - Work closely with branches to:
- Understand demand patterns - Resolve supply gaps or overages - Support seasonal and promotional needs - Track and reconcile purchasing activity against vendor agreements and pricing terms
- Partner with Finance and Operations to support forecasting, planning, and cost control
- Maintain purchasing and inventory tracking tools (primarily Excel‑based)
- Support data integrity and process consistency within ServiceTitan
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency, visibility, and standardization Qualifications - 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or inventory-related roles
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Purchasing agreements - Minimum/maximum inventory concepts - Pricing and volume‑based deals - Advanced Excel skills (required)
- Strong analytical and detail orientation
- Ability to work within defined guardrails while managing competing priorities
- Experience with ERP or field service systems (ServiceTitan an asset; training provided)
- HVAC or home services industry experience is an asset but not required Other - Willingness to travel occasionally for branch alignment, vendor coordination, or process support
