Provides timely, quality, cost effective maintenance for Federal Express vehicle fleet and ground support equipment. The role requires preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and comprehensive documentation.Responsibilities- Repairs, modifies, and performs preventative maintenance inspections on field vehicle fleet and ground support equipment.- Troubleshoots service issues for G.S.E. and heavy equipment in both shop and outdoor environments.- Operates all automotive diagnostic testing equipment, gauges, and tools for gasoline, diesel, and hydraulic powered equipment.- Maintains safety procedures, including welding safety, and ensures compliance with company and regulatory standards.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED EquivalentAutomotive Service Technician or Truck and Coach Technician accreditations/certifications/licenses preferredValid Provincial Driver’s License (Class 5, G, or equivalent)Seven (7) years fleet experienceBasic Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skillsBasic electronic troubleshooting skillsWorking knowledge of automotive diagnostic testing equipment and tools for gasoline, diesel,
