Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and handling of eggs for incubation, ensuring proper placement and cleanliness
- Support hatchery processes by monitoring incubators, adjusting temperature and humidity levels as needed
- Perform heavy lifting of eggs, chicks, and equipment safely and efficiently throughout shifts
- Operate farm machinery such as egg turners, conveyor systems, and cleaning equipment with proper care
- Maintain cleanliness in hatchery areas by cleaning equipment, cages, and workspaces regularly
- Observe hatchlings for signs of health issues or abnormalities and report findings promptly
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment that involves standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Basic understanding of farm operations or poultry production is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
