We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer with a valid Ref A License to oversee and manage all plant engineering and maintenance operations near Burlington, ON.

Pay – $50/hr

Shift – Day

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise all maintenance and engineering activities within the facility
- Ensure optimal performance of refrigeration, boilers, and production equipment
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues
- Ensure compliance with Ontario safety regulations, TSSA standards, and company policies
- Manage, mentor, and schedule maintenance team members
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and compliance records
- Oversee inventory, spare parts, and maintenance budgeting

Requirements

- Valid Ref A License (Ontario) mandatory
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience as a Chief Engineer
- Robust knowledge of refrigeration systems, boilers, and plant utilities
- Experience working in manufacturing, food processing, or industrial settings
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
