Overview Water Treatment – Mining and Industrial Sectors Our client, a company recognized for its expertise in water treatment for the mining and industrial sectors, is seeking a Chief Laboratory Technician to join its sustainable solutions-oriented team. This position offers the prospect to play a key role in conducting laboratory and field tests, supervising pilot tests, and producing technical reports, in collaboration with experienced specialists (chemists, engineers, and technicians). and maintenance of the laboratory - Collect sampling at client sites and on-site - Write transparent and structured technical reports - Participate in the implementation and optimization of treatment processes - Support and train field operators, as needed Desired Profile - College diploma or AEC in chemistry, environment, water management, or a related field - Experience in water treatment or in a laboratory (mining or industrial environment: an asset) - Excellent organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail - Good communication skills in French and English - Driver’s license Conditions - Permanent full-time position (40 hours/week) - Competitive salary based on experience - Group insurance, RRSP, adaptable leave, and employee assistance program Location: Malartic.
