What is Rarita?

Rarita is India's trusted marketplace for rare and collectible items — diecast models, sneakers, trading cards, watches, art, coins, stamps, and more. We combine escrow-secured payments, AI-powered authentication, and real-time auctions to make collecting safe and transparent.

How does the escrow system work?

When you make a purchase, your payment is held securely by Rarita — not sent to the seller. Funds are released only after you approve the seller's verification video, or after delivery is confirmed without a dispute. Your money is always protected.

What is video verification?

Before shipping, every seller must upload a transparent, real-time video of the product — showing its condition, packaging, defects (if any), and authenticity markers. You must approve this video before the seller ships. If something looks wrong, you can cancel and get a full refund.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel only if the verification video reveals a mismatch from the listing — and you raise it within the defined window. Cancellation for change of mind or price changes isn't permitted, as all transactions are binding once confirmed.

How do I raise a dispute?

Raise a dispute within 48 hours of delivery. You'll need a continuous unboxing video as evidence. Valid disputes include items that are counterfeit, incorrect, or significantly different from what was shown. Rarita acts as the neutral mediator, and our decision is final.

What are Rare Coins (RC)?

Rare Coins (RC) are Rarita's internal currency for sellers. 1 RC = ₹5. Seller fees are automatically deducted from your RC wallet — the higher of 1% of transaction value or a predefined RC fee. Top up anytime through the app.

How does Rarita prevent fakes?

Multiple layers: KYC-verified sellers, AI-powered OCR image authentication, mandatory video verification before shipping, and strict enforcement policies. Any seller found listing counterfeits faces an immediate permanent ban and potential legal action.
