Become a vital part of the City of Windsor's Pollution Control team as a Wastewater Treatment Operator. This full time role requires expertise in wastewater treatment and offers shift work flexibility. As a Wastewater Treatment Operator, you'll assist in the operations of high-efficiency plants, maintaining excellent standards in wastewater treatment.
Your two years of education in a related field and a valid wastewater license are critical in monitoring processes and performing essential tests. You'll directly impact community health and safety through diligent plant operations and equipment management. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate wastewater treatment controls and processes
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment
- Inspect and adjust plant processes as needed
- Log plant data in the record-keeping system
- Monitor and report public complaints effectively Requirements:
- Valid Class II, III, or IV Wastewater Treatment License
- Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma
- Two years of post-secondary education in a relevant field
- Current Class ‘G’ Driver's License
