Junior Accessories Designer

Duration: 6 months, approx 37 hrs/week

Onsite 4 days/week (Downtown Toronto)

Starts: July 2026

Rate: $25-30/hr. (T4)

Our retail client is looking for a Junior Accessories Designer to support the creation and development of proprietary product collections from concept through production. Working closely with design and cross functional teams, this role helps deliver cutting-edge, customer focused products that meet quality standards, timelines, and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the design and development of seasonal product collections across multiple categories.

- Create sketches, product concepts, technical specifications, and vendor tech packs.

- Manage product samples, track development timelines, and communicate revisions with vendors.

- Partner with merchandising, sourcing, and design teams to resolve product development and production issues.

- Maintain collection line plans and ensure products align with design, quality, and customer expectations.





- Research market trends and customer needs to inform product development and design decisions.

- Contribute to process improvements and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams

Skills & Experience:

- Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in a design, retail, agency, or in house creative environment.

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; experience with 3D modeling software is an asset.

- Strong creative, conceptual, and visual design skills with excellent attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills.

- Understanding of product development, retail design standards, and customer focused design principles.

- Willingness to travel internationally as required for the role.
