We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to lead the pursuit and capture of significant defense and aerospace contracts. The successful candidate will manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles - from opportunity identification through competitive tendering to contract award - while representing INKAS® with professionalism, discretion, and the highest standards of integrity. This is a senior, trust-critical role suited to a polished commercial professional who is comfortable engaging government procurement authorities, military end-users, and industry partners at a senior level, and who exercises sound judgment when pursuing large, high-value opportunities. Base salary of $60,000 CAD Uncapped commission Successful candidates typically earn between $100,000 and $150,000 CAD annually Earnings vary based on individual performance, sales volume, territory, and market conditions Why This Role Could Be A Great Fit

Identify, qualify, and pursue large-value sales opportunities across defense and aerospace markets. Lead the preparation of complex bids and proposals in response to government tenders (ITTs / RFPs / ITQs / RFIs), coordinating technical,
pricing, legal, and compliance inputs into cohesive, winning submissions. Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with government procurement bodies, defense and security agencies, prime contractors, and channel partners. Structure commercially sound proposals, including pricing strategy, teaming and partnership arrangements, and industrial / offset obligations where applicable. Navigate procurement frameworks and compliance requirements, ensuring submissions satisfy all mandatory and rated criteria. Own the full sales cycle and provide accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting to leadership. Represent INKAS® at trade shows, product demonstrations, and industry events. Handle sensitive, proprietary, and controlled information with strict confidentiality. Required Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of sales or business development experience, ideally in defense, aerospace, security, or a comparable complex-engineering / capital-equipment sector. Demonstrated success winning large, complex contracts through competitive tendering. Proven experience managing government and / or military procurement processes. Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to structure and negotiate high-value deals. Post-secondary degree in business, engineering, or a related field - or equivalent professional experience. Preferred Qualifications
An existing network within the Canadian and / or allied defense procurement community. Familiarity with defense procurement policy (e.g., Canada’s PSPC / DND processes and ITB / value-proposition obligations) and / or international defense sales and export controls. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada security clearance. Additional language skills relevant to target export markets. Exceptional communication - articulate and persuasive in writing and in person, with the presence and polish to engage senior stakeholders with credibility.
Business judgment - the commercial instinct and maturity to read complex opportunities and act in the company’s best interest when pursuing major contracts. Complex bid management - highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines under pressure without losing accuracy. Professionalism & discretion - respectful and composed, able to operate effectively within an established chain of command. Integrity & trustworthiness (essential) - unimpeachable honesty and reliability, with the discretion and sound judgment required to handle confidential and sensitive matters in a defense environment. Collaboration - works constructively across engineering, finance, legal, and leadership functions to deliver results. This position operates in a professional office environment with daily responsibilities carried out in a collaborative and team-oriented environment. This role involves working closely with colleagues across departments, utilizing standard office tools and technologies to support business operations and client engagement. The successful candidate should be comfortable in a rapid-paced office environment, maintaining a high level of organization, professionalism, and adaptability.
