Pensionable Salary Enhancement - Nurses in eligible classifications may be eligible to earn an additional $5.95/hour when working full time hours within a prescribed six-month reporting period. (Effective April 1, 2025 - March 31st 2027.)

Position Overview

Experience

- A minimum of three (3) years of current clinical experience on the ward is required.
- Recent teaching experience preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing required.
- Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
- Successful completion of a relevant post-basic program may be required or preferred in designated area.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

- Current registration or eligibility for registration, with C.R.N.M. required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.

- Knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in the use of word processing, email and internet software required.

Physical Requirements

- Moderate to heavy physical effort required.

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
