Become the key support as a full-time Mental Health & Justice Rent Supplement Housing Case Manager at CMHA Kenora Branch. This role focuses on helping individuals with mental health issues secure appropriate housing. In this position, you will coordinate rent supplements for clients aged 16 and older.
Your responsibilities include assessing client needs, advocating for resources, and maintaining strong relationships with landlords. Collaborative and client-centered approaches are essential to successfully support client transitions into stable housing. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized needs assessments for clients
- Collaborate with various housing providers
- Develop and implement personalized service plans
- Perform regular risk assessments for housing stability
- Advocate and connect clients with community resources Requirements:
- BSW preferred or similar experience required
- Strong understanding of mental health and housing issues
- Exceptional communication and counseling skills
- Ability to work independently in a qualified manner
