CMM Operator
Summary
Under the supervision of the Quality Control Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to ensure the best quality product is delivered to a customer in a timely manner. Terms:
Permanent, full time position.
Responsibilities: Program the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) using Camio Inspection software to complete dimensional inspection of completed product.
Prepare reports to describe studies and prepare documents and layouts
Keep the equipment and the workstation clean at all times for most accurate results
Perform project work, while adhering to deadlines, as required
Other related duties as assigned Qualifications: Experience operating Milling machine, Surface grinder, Drill press, Hand tools and Precision instruments
Ability to read a blue print and GD&T; interpretations
Ability to use MS Word & Excel computer applications
Strong organizational and workload planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Previous experience operating a CMM/Portable measuring equipment is preferred
