- Managing a book of Commercial Lines business, handling renewals, changes, and day-to-day service needs.
- Preparing quotes and proposals with confidence and attention to detail.
- Communicating with clients regularly to ensure their coverage continues to meet their needs.
- Reviewing client exposures and recommending coverage adjustments as their businesses grow and evolve.
- Liaising with insurers and underwriters to negotiate competitive solutions.
- Supporting your Account Executive partner(s) in delivering exceptional client service.
- Providing backup support for claims handling and guiding clients with care and clarity.
- Continuously growing your product and industry knowledge and sharing your insights with the team.
Qualifications / Required Skills
What You Bring to the Table:
- At least 3 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance servicing.
- Level 2 General Insurance License (or Level 1 with intent to upgrade—let’s talk).
- Strong working knowledge of insurer portals and commercial underwriting processes.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently,
and maintain a high level of reliability, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and nothing is overlooked.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, you keep things on track and on time.
- A relationship-driven approach: you genuinely care about helping clients protect what matters most.
- A calm, solution-oriented mindset, especially during peak season.
- Tech-savviness and comfort with agency management systems (bonus points if you’ve used EPIC).
- A team-first attitude with the confidence to work independently when needed.
