Spur Communication
Vancouver
Spur is a growing Vancouver-based communication and engagement consultancy that helps organizations navigate complexity and move forward with clarity. We specialize in high-stakes communication, meaningful public engagement, and organizational alignment. Our partners include public and non-profit clients working on purpose-driven projects.
Our team is thoughtful, driven, and committed to making an impact. We’re looking for someone who shares that passion to join us. What’s it like to work at Spur? We believe that when people understand the world around them, they can help shape it.
That’s why we design communication and engagement processes that bring more people into the decisions that affect their lives. Through conversations that matter, stories worth telling, and planning grounded in real people’s experiences, we help clients communicate clearly, engage meaningfully, and make defensible, decision-ready choices. At Spur, we bring structure, steadiness, and clear thinking to help clients move forward with confidence.
We design and facilitate communication and engagement programs for large-scale infrastructure projects and significant community planning and policy changes. We are trusted to guide teams through complex organizational changes and strategic planning processes. And we design and execute compelling social change campaigns.
Our work helps people understand what’s changing, why it matters, and how they can contribute. Sometimes we work on contentious projects, public policies or initiatives. We’re trusted to guide tough conversations toward positive solutions.
We’re skilled at creating space for honest, inclusive dialogue—even when the topics are complex or tensions are high. Most importantly, we are a team that cares deeply about how we work together. We lead with humility, generosity, curiosity, and initiative.
We believe in bringing people in rather than gatekeeping, taking ownership of challenges, continuously improving our craft, and supporting one another along the way. About the role
