HR LEAF is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an experienced and client-focused Senior Group Benefits Consultant - Team Lead. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in employee benefits, consulting, and client relationship management to join a dynamic organization and make a meaningful impact through strategic advisory services and exceptional client support.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance and support related to employee benefits programs.
- Manage and support a portfolio of clients across various industries, identifying opportunities to enhance program effectiveness, employee value, and cost efficiency.
- Lead client meetings, renewal discussions, and benefit reviews while presenting clear recommendations and actionable insights.
- Analyze reports, market trends, and operational data to develop customized solutions aligned with client objectives.
- Coordinate and manage benefit plan renewals, market reviews, and reporting processes to ensure competitive and effective solutions.
- Support the onboarding and implementation of new client accounts, ensuring a seamless transition and positive client experience.
- Prepare professional client presentations, reports, summaries, and communication materials.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and service providers to deliver exceptional client service and maintain high standards across all accounts.
- Maintain accurate documentation, compliance requirements, and data integrity within systems and client records.
- Stay current with industry trends, legislative changes, and best practices to strengthen client recommendations.
- Participate in process improvements and special projects as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in group advantages, employee benefits consulting, insurance advisory services, workforce solutions, HR consulting, or a related field.
- Active LLQP license is required.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
- Proficiency with business systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
