Responsibilities include reading blueprints, inspecting welds, maintaining equipment, and following safety protocols. Accurate job tracking and a commitment to a safe, organized workspace are essential.This is a recent position being staffed which requires the individual to be onsite five(5) days a week,



Monday - Friday 2:30PM to 11:00PM.What you'll doPerform MIG welding on a variety of metals normally requiring standard welds.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.Ensure all welds meet structural and aesthetic standards.Inspect welded surfaces for flaws and ensure compliance with project requirements.Set up and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.Record materials used and hours worked for job tracking as required during working hours.Work collaboratively and safely with colleagues in cross-functional roles and departments for related projects.Other related duties, as assigned.QualificationsEducation:Welding certificate is required.Knowledge of manufacturing processesKnowledge of measuring tools, including calipers, tape measures, straightedges, etc.Experience completing checklists for product completionExperience following standard operating procedures and adhering to workplace health and safety procedures.Experience reviewing products for deviations and/or non-conformitiesExperience reading and interpreting technical drawings and instructionsRelevant welding experience is considered an asset.Work ConditionsWorking in a manufacturing environment dailyRemain alert for extended periods, paying keen attention to detailAbility to lift 23 kilograms (50 lbs)Why Join AMBICO?Hourly Rate $26.10 - $29.02 plus performance-based incentives, rewarding your dedication, hard work, and contributions.Unionized position with SMWIA Local 47Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage and union pensionPaid time off and a supportive work environmentWork with a team that values family, tradition, and excellence#J-18808-Ljbffr
