Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Initiate, process, verify and finalize electronic and manual claims ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
- Process travel relocation and other employee claims using approved systems including electronic platforms.
- Conduct cost comparisons and provide financial analysis to support operational requirements.
- Respond to enquiries from managers staff and suppliers regarding financial procedures transaction status and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate travel arrangements including flight bookings using approved systems such as AMEX GBT/NEO.
- Maintain proper information management practices including filing safeguarding and retention of financial and administrative records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial legislation regulations and policies during all transactions.
- Support timely and accurate claims processing to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Attend required training professional development and system specific sessions related to financial administration.
- Perform additional payrolling and administrative duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table

- 2+ years’ experience providing client service support within the last 5 years.
- Experience processing verifying and administering financial transactions and claims.
- Knowledge of financial policies procedures and compliance frameworks.




- Experience using financial systems and tools including electronic claims platforms
- Ability to manage multiple transactions in a high-volume environment with tight timelines.
- Solid English communication skills to respond to enquiries and provide guidance to stakeholders.
- Currently residing in the Kingston region and holding, or being eligible to obtain, a Government of Canada Secret security clearance.
