Dryden Fibre Canada is seeking a full‑time mechanical technician to join our multi‑skilled maintenance teams. The position offers an hourly rate of $51.649.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical repairs to machinery and plant support systems, including all rotating and stationary equipment.
- Work with preventative maintenance programs and document accurate maintenance records.
- Operate precision tools, including computerized alignment equipment.
- Read and interpret machine drawings.
Qualifications
- Valid Interprovincial “Red Seal” Industrial Mechanical Millwright Certificate.
- Positive work attitude and a keen sense of responsibility regarding safety and environmental policies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid computer skills and experience with electronic work orders.
- Experience in the pulp and paper industry is considered an asset.
