The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the nursing program, including faculty and staff management, curriculum oversight, and collaboration on academic processes. The role also involves leading the Indigenization and decolonization of the curriculum, managing change, and overseeing financial operations. The Academic Chair will be a pivotal figure in the development and maintenance of operational plans,



as well as leading current program initiatives and change management practices.Applicants for the Academic Chair position must have appropriate nursing credentials, a relevant degree (Master's preferred), and current nursing experience. The role requires a deep understanding of the nursing industry, including trends and developments, and a commitment to the spirit of the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic and operational planning, programming, and budgeting, and be adept at managing relationships both within the college and with external partners.
