Make a difference in youth mental health with WoodGreen as a contract Youth Mental Health Court Worker. This role focuses on assessments, case management, and referrals within the youth justice system. WoodGreen is seeking a skilled Youth Mental Health Court Worker for a two-month contract, primarily working onsite.
You'll leverage your expertise in trauma-informed care to support youth facing criminal justice matters. Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, you'll develop treatment plans that emphasize family engagement and cultural sensitivity. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and mental health screenings
- Provide brief counseling and support for youth
- Collaborate on service/treatment plan development
- Maintain client files according to privacy standards
- Actively engage in team meetings and training Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Counseling
- Minimum 3 years working with adolescents in youth justice
- Solid clinical assessment and counseling skills
- Knowledge of mental health treatments and diagnoses
