Contracts Management Specialist – Millennium Space Systems

Position
Overview The Contracts Management Specialist supports the Contracts team by developing complex proposals, negotiating current contracts and change orders, and administering existing programs. The role requires building and maintaining effective relationships with U.S. Government customers and is based full‑time at our El Segundo, California office.
Position Responsibilities
Interfacing with customers and business partners to prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage contract administration for a portfolio of programs. Analyzing proposal requirements, terms, conditions, and Basis of Estimates (BOEs) to evaluate risk and ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Processing contractual documentation and reports, advising management of contractual rights and obligations, compiling and analyzing data and maintaining historical information.
Facilitating proper shipment, billing, and payment collection for deliveries and coordinating with DCMA as required. Preparing weekly and monthly reports and maintaining assigned contracts. Preparing proprietary information agreements, associate contractor agreements, export licenses/agreements, and various types of memoranda.
Understanding and interpreting FAR guidelines for specific contract types and managing flow‑downs.
Basic Qualifications (Required) Bachelor’s degree or higher. Minimum 5 years of contract‑related experience. Knowledge of FAR and DFARS,
including pre‑award and post‑award federal government contracting industry practices, techniques, and standards.
Experience with cost‑plus, fixed‑price, and time‑and‑materials contract types. Active U.S.
Top Secret Security
Clearance (a clearance active in the past 24 months is considered active).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired) Demonstrated ability to perform moderately complex contract administration tasks and support competitive proposal development.
Experience developing solutions to moderately complex problems with minimal supervision.
Experience working with commercial partners in the defense industry.
Experience as a prime contractor, preferably for the Department of Defense.
Experience with Other Transaction Agreements (OTA). Familiarity with CostPoint.

This position requires an active U.S.
Top Secret Security
Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required. Applicants must be willing to apply for and maintain a security clearance. Location
On‑site at our office in El Segundo, California. The facility requires special access. Shift
Shift 1 (United States of America) Salary Range Level 3: $96,050 – $141,250 Level 4: $118,150 – $173,750 EEO and Employment Eligibility
