Become a vital part of Lookout Housing and Health Society as a Cook. This casual role involves preparing and serving meals while maintaining a clean kitchen setting for our guests. As a Cook, you will report directly to the Site Manager and adhere to our mission of supporting individuals with low or no income.

Your daily responsibilities will include cooking meals, ensuring food availability, and overseeing kitchen volunteers in a supportive environment. You’ll also contribute to health and safety measures, while accommodating varying shift schedules throughout the week. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, cook, and serve meals, snacks, and beverages
- Ensure food availability after hours
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
- Oversee and collaborate with kitchen volunteers
- Follow menu and manage supply inventory Requirements:
- Grade 12 education and Cooking Diploma
- Minimum 2 years related cooking experience
- Current Occupational First Aid Level 1
- FOODSAFE Certificate
- Clear Criminal Record for Vulnerable Sector Deliver quality meals while fostering a friendly kitchen atmosphere supporting Lookout’s mission.
