Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Handle all aspects of food preparation, including chopping, marinating, seasoning, and plating.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Serve food efficiently to ensure timely delivery to guests while maintaining presentation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with stock rotation and ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service during busy hours and special events.
- Follow all health regulations related to food handling, storage, and hygiene practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong background in cooking and meal preparation.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential.
- Previous kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in preparing a variety of cuisines or dishes is preferred.
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices for delivering exceptional customer service through food presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration and continuous learning.
