This contract is expected to begin August 2026 and continue until approximately December 2027 with the possibility of extension based on business needs.**Salary Range:** $CA 65,000 - $CA 70,000**Qualifications*** Minimum 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience in a Canadian business environment.* College diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.* CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA designation.* Solid understanding and practical application of accounting principles and theory.* Self-motivated, results-oriented,



and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.* Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.* Experience working with ERP systems; experience with Epicor Kinetic is considered an asset.* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.**Responsibilities**Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, the General Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of full-cycle accounting activities.**Key Responsibilities*** Maintain accurate general ledger accounts.* Perform month-end closing activities and assist the VP Finance in preparing monthly financial reporting packages.* Prepare account reconciliations.* Maintain customer master data and manage accounts receivable collections.* Process and submit government remittances, including GST/HST, QST and etc.* Support year-end closing activities and assist with internal audits as required.* Provide support in other areas as needed.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
