Sobeys has released a notification in which they’re inviting candidates for the post of Cost & Promotions Optimization Specialist. Understanding the tasks and responsibilities is essential for the candidates, along with putting forth their best effort. They will produce accurate reports and complete analyzes to put forward suggestions to improve financial results, processes and marketing improvements.

They will actively seek and identify process improvements within the cost and promotions team and communicate key findings and opportunities to align key processes.





- Candidates will provide expertise and practical assistance in the investigation, evaluation and ad hoc interpretation of data.


- They will support category management in the development and execution of category strategies by providing supplier data and insights.


- They will maintain relationships with category management, operations, merchandising and IT departments


- They will help support go-to-market departments to further improve existing processes and error handling.




Job requirement





- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,



Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis or related field, or equivalent work experience.


- They should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience in designing and building data analysis solutions in SQL.


- They should have In-depth knowledge of SQL Server databases.


- They must have Knowledge of SAP, ACCESS, SAS (an important asset).
