Role Overview The Creative Content Specialist produces engaging visual and digital content that strengthens brand presence across all Arctos & Bird businesses. This role focuses on photography, videography and graphic design, social media content creation and visual storytelling to support marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and guest engagement. Combining creativity, design expertise, and strong organizational skills, the role supports marketing initiatives that enhance brand awareness, engagement, and guest experience.

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation, Visual Storytelling & Design

- Capture, edit, design, and organize photography, video and graphic elements for social media, websites, and campaigns.
- Create written and visual communications content for social media, blogs, and digital promotions.
- Brainstorm and storyboard creative ideas and design concepts with guidance from Marketing Manager and Creative Director.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, visual identity and graphic standards, as well as campaign objectives.
- Perform visual and written content website and online listings updates, design content for e-newsletters and blogs.
- Help develop templates and maintain brand standards for consistent marketing execution.
- Develop and coordinate production of marketing and advertising materials, including graphic design work.

Social Media & Publishing

- Develop and maintain content calendars in collaboration with Marketing Manager.
- Schedule, post, and monitor social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
- Track social media performance and provide insights for optimization.




- Assist in influencer collaborations, community events, and media engagement.

Collaboration & Support

- Liaise with Marketing Manager and Creative Director to ensure brand consistency.
- Work with operations teams to capture stories and marketing opportunities for visual communication.
- Provide occasional creative and content support for HR-led initiatives, such as internal communications, recruitment materials, and employer branding.
- Support execution of marketing campaigns that require collaboration across departments.

Requirements

- Proven skills in photography, videography, and content editing.
- Proven graphic design skills.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom).
- Knowledge of social media platforms and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of WordPress and Squarespace.
- Strong writing skills and understanding of brand voice.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative thinker who enjoys collaboration and storytelling.
- Interest in hospitality, community, and environmentally responsible business practices.
- Demonstrates thoughtful use of AI as a creative tool to improve efficiency and inspire ideas,



while applying sound human judgement to ensure all work is original, accurate, and aligned with Arctos & Bird’s brand and editorial standards.
