About the RoleThe Network Security team is responsible for the evolution, support, and governance of our worldwide network and its security. The team seeks to ensure our infrastructure and services stay at the forefront of the company’s needs.As a Senior Network Security advisor with robust Palo Alto hands‑on experience, you will drive the advancement, performance, and stability of our infrastructure, focusing on innovation and automation.ResponsibilitiesProvide high level technical expertise to support the network security operations team in all activities.Provide high quality internal and external customer service surrounding company values.Implement and support network security components (NGFW, DDoS) LAN, WAN, Data Center infrastructure, ZTNA, etc.Ensure all network infrastructure engineering patterns are designed to meet SLA requirements.Write and review change requests as part of the change management process.Recommend improvements for overall network security posture.Participate in documentation processes including network diagrams, staff contacts, vendor contacts, and use of monitoring/resource/inventory management tools.Collaborate with managers to develop standards in line with company guidelines and monitor those standards.Assist in resolving escalated issues and participate in problem management activities.Participate in an on‑call support rotation to ensure 24/7/365 coverage for critical core and customer infrastructure.Overtime may be required in emergencies.QualificationsDegree or diploma in Networking or Technology.5+ years of experience in large IP‑based environments (strongly preferred).Strong experience with network security equipment such as Palo Alto,
Zscaler ZIA & ZPA, IPS, DDoS, microsegmentation, etc.Deep understanding of the TCP/IP protocol.Effective teamwork skills and an organized, methodical approach.Expertise in change control process including impact analysis, method of procedure review, implementation, and verification.Ability to own and coordinate resolution of network‑related problems.Outstanding analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Customer‑service oriented with energy, professionalism, and a welcoming attitude.Ability to meet deadlines and handle sensitive and pressured situations.Strategic thinking and ability to develop tactical plans for departmental initiatives.Excellent documentation and communication skills.Expert knowledge of network administration, architecture, and engineering in mission‑critical environments.For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism (English & French) is required.No Canadian work experience is required; you must be eligible towork in Canada.Nice to HaveNetworking and security certifications (PCNSA, CCNA, CCNP, ZDTA, ZDTE).Knowledge of a wide variety of network security equipment and technologies, including next‑gen firewalls, IPS, DDoS, ZTNA.Experience with automation and Python scripting (e.G.,
