This role involves supporting Human Resources operations through recruitment coordination, administrative support, and maintaining organized employee records and documentation. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, possess strong computer skills, and thrive in a rapid-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment: post job ads, review applicant resumes, pre-screen candidates, conduct reference checks
- Verify safety/training certificates and assess candidate competencies
- Onboarding of crew: contracts signing, orientations, facilitating training, and documentation within the recruitment and training management system
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
- Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Requirements:
- Previous administrative or Human Resources experience considered an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong data entry and computer skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
