Title: ETL Developer - Snowflake (Life Science / Pharma Domain)

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Snowflake to extract, transform, and load data from sources such as Rx, call-activity, formulary, and sales databases.
- Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to gather requirements and create ETL workflows aligned with business needs.
- Perform data cleansing, validation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Implement and maintain business rules and calculations within ETL processes for analysis and reporting.
- Create and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data models, and workflows.
- Work closely with downstream process owners to understand data needs and support data consumption.
- Monitor and optimize ETL performance for efficient data processing in Snowflake.

Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration, preferably in the life sciences industry.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica).

Technical Skills

- Proficient in SQL and database design.
- Experience with data modeling, metadata, and BI concepts.
- Familiarity with programming languages and dashboards like Tableau, Power BI, and Strategy.

Industry Knowledge

- Understanding of life sciences data domains (Rx, call-activity, formulary, sales) and regulatory requirements is a plus.

Problem-Solving

- Robust analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving data issues.

Communication

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
