: Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking applications for a Defensive Driving Instructor certified by the National Safety Council (NSC) to deliver informative courses that promote safe driving practices. The instructor will facilitate NSC-approved curriculum.

Responsibilities

- Deliver NSC Defensive Driving courses in accordance with approved curriculum and guidelines.
- Teach drivers with varying skill levels and driving behaviors
- Understand how to identify driver’s strengths and weaknesses
- Deliver an engaging, positive learning experience
- Motive students to be secure and responsible drivers
- Assess student understanding and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance and course completion records.
- Stay current with NSC updates,



traffic laws and best practices in driver safety.

Advertised Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

- Current NSC Defensive Driving Instructor Certification
- Experience in public speaking with the ability to lead effective classroom discussions
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
- College Degree
- Prior teaching or training experience
- Familiarity with technology and basic troubleshooting
