Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage front desk responsibilities with enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as TRACKER, ensuring optimal patient flow.
- Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing inquiries accurately to support smooth financial operations.
- Maintain electronic medical records (EMRs) with precision, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and confidential.
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls professionally and assisting patients with inquiries.
- Manage correspondence, including emails and appointment reminders,
to keep communication clear and timely.
- Support the dental team by coordinating patient flow, preparing treatment rooms, and managing supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a dental office or medical office environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with practice management software such as TRACKER
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy front desk setting.
- Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Demonstrated administrative experience in office settings, including managing schedules and billing processes.
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with patients, team members, and insurance providers.
- Ability to adapt quickly to recent technologies and procedures while maintaining attention to detail.
