The position is based at our Longueuil establishment, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What are our expectations

- Provide technical/operational drafting and design support to the engineering functional groups.

- Under moderate supervision, performs varied tasks of intermediate complexity.

- Applies intermediate and some advanced skills to perform functions of the position within assigned area.

- May adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements functions of the position.

- Resolves most questions and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels.

- May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning,



and checking the work of other employees

What your day to day will look like

- Generates complex engineering drawings, 3D models and layouts of moderately complex design concepts using Computer Aided Design/Definition (CAD) in CATIA V5/V6.

- Provides technical assistance through the detail design and development phase.

- Ensure that all drawings, 3D files and documents are created to established rules and guidelines.

- Applies extensive knowledge of mechanical drafting, engineering mathematics, geometric tolerancing, manufacturing methods, knowledge of physics and strength of materials

- May serve as a resource on varied tasks.

What do you need to be successful?

- College diploma / Associates degree in Engineering Technology

- Demonstrated leadership, technical writing, and problem-solving skills

- General knowledge of construction and function of gas turbine engines

- Good knowledge of the English language, written and oral, is required for this position considering the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the [candidate] will be called upon to interact.

- Field of study: Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Manufacturing

- Experience using CATIA V5/V6, (2D and 3D) or similar.
