We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Diagnostic Imaging Department. Key Responsibilities
Department Operations
Coordinate the daily operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department, ensuring efficient scheduling, workflow management, and quality patient care.
Team Leadership
Supervise, mentor, and support a team of radiologic technologists, sonographers, and departmental support staff while fostering a positive work environment.
Quality and Compliance
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, provincial healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and radiation safety protocols.
Equipment and Resource Management
Coordinate equipment maintenance,
monitor departmental inventory, and work closely with vendors and biomedical teams to minimize service disruptions.
Performance Improvement
Monitor departmental performance indicators, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement initiatives that enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.
Interdepartmental Collaboration
Work closely with physicians, nursing teams, and hospital leadership to support timely diagnostic services and effective patient care.
What We Are Looking For
Experience
Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in diagnostic imaging or medical imaging services, including 1 to 2 years in a supervisory, team lead, or coordinator role.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Medical Radiation Sciences, Health Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Additional leadership or management training is considered an asset.
Professional Credentials
Current registration with the applicable Canadian regulatory body and certification in good standing where required.
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging procedures, departmental operations, quality assurance programs, and healthcare information systems.
Leadership Skills
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, solve operational challenges, and promote a culture of patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
Communication
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across clinical and administrative teams.

Pay: $7,936.00-$9,000.00 per month
