Job Purpose

Working with the Boutique Director/Manager, the Assistant Manager assists with the day‑to‑day management of the sales team and ensures the highest level of customer service throughout the store in line with Christian Dior expectations.

Responsibilities

- Maximize sales and minimize stock losses, and bring new clients to the business.
- Open and close the boutique.
- Coach, staff, schedule, merchandize, and complete inventory.
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed to achieve maximum results.
- Measure sales performance and conversion rates on a daily basis.
- Provide outstanding customer service and inspire it in the team.
- Assign and monitor sales goals for Sales Associates.
- Develop clientele and support clienteling.
- Participate in preparing merchandise displays and presentations.
- Train, coach, develop, and manage sales associates in selling skills.
- Conduct store meetings to discuss performance, training, product knowledge, merchandising, and other necessary information.
- Facilitate proper communication between management and associates.
- Coordinate sales promotion activities, including seasonal sales, trunk shows, contests, and in‑store signage.
- Train the team on optimizing Capture Rate and After Sale to develop personal customer database.
- Gather merchandise for transfers, damages, and returns‑to‑vendor.
- Oversee and participate in department inventories.
- Monitor proper pricing of merchandise.
- Minimize stock losses.
- Oversee compliance with company policies, including handling of funds, security, and record‑keeping procedures.
- Help solve problems that affect service, efficiency, and productivity.
- Lock and secure the store and oversee compliance with security procedures.
- Perform any other tasks assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of retail experience,



preferably with at least 1 year of management in a luxury product setting.
- Sense of initiative and commercial creativity with fashion sensitivity.
- Solid knowledge of the luxury industry and brand.
- Demonstration of own initiative; ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Availability to open and/or close the store.
- Ability to maintain presence on the selling floor for long periods as needed.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow‑through skills.

- Effectively manage sales staff toward achievement of sales and clienteling objectives.
- Manage boutique operations effectively, including attendance, merchandising, and housekeeping standards.

- Maintain a fair, consistent set of standards applicable to the workforce.
- Adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast‑paced environment.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and listen attentively.
- Operate all necessary equipment, including POS systems, PCs, phone systems, cash register, sensor‑tag remover, and other office equipment.

Benefits

- Salary within the range of $95,000–$110,000 annually plus bonus eligibility.
- Rate offered will depend on relevant skills and experience.
