Lead outreach initiatives with Atira Women’s Resource Society in Vancouver. As the Director, you will guide programs that champion anti-violence and community support. This full-time leadership role requires an extensive background in non-profit operations and community engagement.
You will oversee outreach, shelter programs, and ensure adherence to feminist and anti-oppressive principles. The position emphasizes empowerment and intersectional practices, aligned with Atira's commitment to systemic change and respect for all identities. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight for outreach and community programs
- Manage program budgets and performance metrics
- Support Program Managers and frontline staff
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards
- Develop funding proposals and grant applications Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master’s preferred
- Extensive non-profit management experience
- Solid knowledge of feminist and anti-oppression practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
