The Director, Corporate Development is responsible for supporting and executing the firm’s strategic growth agenda, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. Working closely with executive leadership, regional management, and cross‑functional teams, the Director, Corporate Development contributes to both inorganic and organic growth initiatives and provides analytical rigor to the evaluation of strategic opportunities across regions.

Strategic Planning

Contribute to the development of the firm’s multi‑year strategic and financial plans. Evaluate strategic options to support long‑term growth, profitability, and capital allocation objectives.

Corporate

Development & M&A; Prepare investment cases, transaction analyses, and supporting materials for senior management and governance committees. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Tax, Global Investment Office) and external advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle. Assist in post‑transaction performance tracking against initial investment assumptions.

Assess strategic, financial, and risk implications of acquisition, divestiture, and strategic investment opportunities. Monitor pipeline development versus targets and identify emerging risks and opportunities. Prepare consolidated reporting and insights for senior management.

Develop predictive models to support planning and strategic decisions. Perform sensitivity analyses on key business drivers, including AUM and revenue growth, margins, costs, and capital deployment. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline; CFA or equivalent designation.

Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, strategy consulting,



or a similar M&A; focused role Strong exposure to projections, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis.

Experience within asset management, financial services, or a regulated financial environment is an asset. Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must.

Capital adheres to a hybrid working environment with 4 days in-office per week. For all positions in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in French, both spoken and written, is mandatory.

Working
