Duties

- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to uphold food safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as ingredient prep or assembling simple dishes under supervision
- Support the kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness in work stations, dining areas, and storage spaces
- Help with food handling procedures to ensure proper storage and disposal of ingredients and waste
- Restock supplies and ensure all necessary items are readily available for meal service
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to promote a safe working setting for all staff




- Collaborate with team members during busy service hours to maintain smooth kitchen operations

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Basic knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and hygiene standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to keep the kitchen clean and efficient
