Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatcher to coordinate driver schedules, routes, and shipments. The ideal candidate has hands-on dispatch experience in the logistics industry and thrives in a rapid-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule driver routes and deliveries to ensure on-time pickups and drop-offs
- Communicate with drivers throughout their shifts to track progress, resolve issues, and adjust routes as needed
- Serve as the point of contact between drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Monitor shipments and proactively address delays or service issues
- Maintain accurate dispatch records, logs, and documentation




- Ensure compliance with company policies and DOT/safety regulations
- Optimize routes and load assignments to improve efficiency

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience working directly in a logistics/dispatch role (required — general customer service or unrelated scheduling experience does not qualify)
- Robust communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Familiarity with dispatch/TMS software
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules a plus

Preferred Qualifications

- LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) dispatch experience is a strong advantage
