Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our door shop team. This position involves measuring, assembling, and preparing pre-hung interior doors for customers. The ideal candidate is comfortable using hand and power tools, takes pride in quality workmanship, and enjoys working with their hands.

Duties

- Measure door components accurately.

- Assemble and pre-hang interior doors and frames.

- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

- Read and follow measurements and work instructions.

- Assist with other shop duties as required. Assemble door components using hand tools and power tools

- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to maintain product standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse or production area.

- Deliver doors to customer

Qualifications





- Good measuring and basic math skills.

- Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.

- Able to lift and carry doors and building materials.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Some previous experience in woodworking, construction, cabinetry, or manufacturing.

- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, assembly techniques.

- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, machining equipment.

- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus.

- Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and procedures.

- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in a quick-paced setting.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
