Duties

- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging positively with clients during deliveries and pickups
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, utilizing proper techniques and equipment to handle cargo
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, team members, and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance standards are met
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring accuracy and care during handling




- Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents or irregularities

Qualifications

- Over 30 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating deep industry knowledge and expertise
- Proven ability in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, skilled demeanor
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various conditions
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, clients, and management
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to transportation and cargo handling
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and physically demanding tasks
