Üphoria Yoga is looking for a caring, energetic, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator (ECE or ECEA) to join our Afterschool Yoga & Mindfulness Program beginning this fall.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fun, movement-based environment where children develop confidence, resilience, mindfulness, and healthy habits through yoga, games, creative activities, and outdoor adventures.

Position Details

- Monday–Friday / must be available to start from September 8th
- 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
- Flexible schedule: 1–5 days per week
- Part-time
- Independent Contractor position (with potential for future growth)

Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children ages 5–10 in a safe, positive environment
- Lead or assist with yoga, mindfulness, movement games, crafts, and group activities
- Foster positive relationships with children and families
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment
- Follow safety procedures and studio policies
- Assist with school pick-up when required (training provided)

Qualifications
- Valid ECE or ECEA Certification (or currently enrolled)




- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
- Criminal Record Check suitable for working with children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, positive, and passionate about working with children
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Assets
- Experience teaching or assisting with children's yoga
- Background in mindfulness, dance, movement, recreation, or physical literacy
- Class 5 BC Driver's Licence (an asset but not required)
